Hey there! Mandy here and this is how I got started on my journey. But first a little bit about myself. I'm 37 years old, a wife and Mama to 3 beautiful and amazing kiddos; Serenity 10, Zachary 3 and Marina 1. I'm currently an overnight Stocker and an online health and wellness coach. I love hip hop, dance fitness/Zumba and also love food especially sweets. Over the years I've kept to myself, let others run my life, let people talk me down and make me feel worthless and never shared a whole lot with others especially on social media, I was afraid of being judged. My weight has gone up and down most of my adult life. Especially when I'm in a relationship or depressed. I've been married 3 times since I was 19. They have had there ups and downs but those are stories for another time.
After my pregnancy scare in 2015 and then being told that I had a liver disease I realized I needed to make a change. And so my journey to a happier and healthier life began….
I've been following my coach Lauren Fitzgerald on her dance fitness Youtube channel since early 2015. And in October 2016 she invited me to join her November challenge group. I thought why not I've tried everything else. So I said yes and signed up. I started to see improvement and finished the challenge. December and January money was tight so I had to postpone my order. February 2017 I decided to join Lauren's team as a discount coach. Because of the support that I had not only from my amazing coach but also the community and my accountability partners I not only lost the weight I also had a change of mindset. Then in June 2017 I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter Marina. I didn't want to go through what I did with Zach and with permission of my doctor I continued with my journey. I made sure that I was having my Shakeology in everyday, it had everything I needed plus more than what I would have gotten from a prenatal vitamin. Because of my healthy lifestyle I had a very healthy pregnancy and baby girl.
Its been 15 months since Marina was born and its been hard to stay on track with my nutrition and fitness. So I have decided it is time to not only get back on track and start taking care of myself but also helping others do the same.
